At Nova Rain we offer personal counselling for a variety of things. Some of the areas we work with are general stress and anxiety, depression, relationships, emotional regulation, grief, self esteem and self concept, perinatal (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), and trauma including troubling or traumatic experiences during childhood. Additionally, our counselling services are for anyone feeling stuck in their life, and moving in an unfavourable direction or finding themselves behaving in a way that is counter to their values. We use acceptance and commitment therapy to help individuals unhook from their painful narratives and take small committed actions towards what is meaningful to them one step at a time.
